Compassion House is a non-profit organization which offers transitional housing and other aid to families in need.  We have been providing essential support to families in our community since 1998.  The assistance includes life skills training, establishing links with other ministries and social service agencies, providing for transportation needs, and financial counseling.  Our goal is to share God's love with each family while working with them to break the cycle of dependency on public assistance or to avoid the need for such assistance.

Our new duplex is nearing completion! The interior and exterior painting are being completed now and the flooring and appliances are not far behind. John Day Homes and all the subcontractors they have partnered with have done an outstanding job on this project and we are looking forward to a grand dedication ceremony near the end of July. A group of volunteers made up of local Windermere realtors will be soon completing the outside look by finishing up the landscaping. We are very thankful for our faithful supporters and the many companies and individuals who have donated time and materials to make this project happen.
